Bonjour,
Life in France has continued like before. the only thing that changed is...........the temperature in the rest of Europe!! I could have just as well stayed at home. Therefore i am a little bit annoyed about the fact that i am not the only one with good weather :D. Just kiddin. You deserve it as well he.
The last couple of weeks got quite exciting here. Lots of concerts and fireworks things are on for the summer season. Juan les pins has a very famous 10 day jazz festival which had its 46th edition this year. Among the artists many jazz legends of whom i only recall BBking. Also Jamie cullum and tracy chapman played there. I went to the concert of madame chapman and it turned out to be absolutely brilliant. In spite of her having a cold, which sounded terrible when she tried to speak, she deliverd a goosebumb shivvering performance. The setting was brilliant as well as the stage was located just before the sea which gave a nice view on stage and beach.
A lot of the other days we just went to the park next to the festival ground with cheap wine and chilled out. QUite good. Last nite massive attack played (not very spectacular) and tomorrow we are going to check out Placebo. In the park of course :D
Today i heard that this will be my last week of work. After a long and though search they managed to find a replacement for a week for me. She will, logically, not be able to get the work up to a quality level as i have been doing the last three months, but that doesnt matter to me :D Gives me two weeks of only school and no work. Maybe now i finally have time to study some french :D
In two days i am having my birthday. Turning a quarter of a century.........young! For this occasion my parents left me already 12 litres of beer, which i decided to replenish with 12 bottles of wine. So we are going to have a little party on the 27th. Will let you know how it was soon.
in a bit over 2 weeks i am coming home (the 10th of aug. to be exactly). So be prepared.

it's me, Judith, heb ook een weekje bij jullie gezeten in Juan les Pins! Hoe gaat het met je? Hoorde van Wietske dat je deze web-log hebt, echt heel leuk om te lezen! Heb je het nog naar je zin daar in Frankrijk? Je gaat toch hierna een jaar naar China toe? Dan moet je wel je log goed bijhouden hoor, ben benieuwd naar de verhalen...raar dat het hier beter weer is dan in Frankrijk, hopelijk wordt het snel wat beter.
Hoop dat je daar nog een leuke tijd hebt, misschien spreek ik je nog wel een keer!

Gaaf dej je zoe good bezig zeetje in Frankriek. Dit is effe un kort berichtje vanuut Ierland. Zit heej ff vur een korte vakantie. Doa noa weer aan' twerk in Amersfoort mer heb nog waal wat leuke weekendjes te goan.... ;)
Succes met uur Frans en met eur werk doa vur zoland ut nog deurtj.

I don't know.... maybe some karaoke singing? I heard the french are very well known for their vocal qualities, but I can imagine you can still find a way to leave a stunning impression...
