En cadance en France

Hoy all,

Here i am once more, from, don't be surprised, a new location in a new country. This time its Antibes/juan les pins in France. Located at the mediterenean between cannes and nice its not bad being here.
Some of you might know Cannes from the film festival which in fact ended two days ago. I went there the first nite but we happened to be 15 min. late for the entry of the stars on the red carpet so we then changed our focus of attention to the champions league final which was played that nite as well.
So what am i doing in France i hear you think. Good question. In fact i am working in the mornings (8-12h) on weekdays and on sunday the entire day. Sat. is of and therefore the natural exploration day. My work consists of the 'menage exterieur' which means i have to keep the garden nice, empty the dustbins, clean the pool and sweep the pavement in our residence. I can tell you this is not a very bad job with 25-30degrees temps and a nice sunny sky.
The afternoons are occupied with French lessons (2-5h). As i am not a beginner we are mainly talking in this time slot. The classes being very small (min 1 and max 6 people) involves a lot of talking for everyone. I indeed have had a private lesson already which meant a monologue from my side for an hour!!
In the evenings there is quite a lot of wine drinking as we have a bar in our residence and the wine is very very very cheap. We have managed to find bottles of wine for as cheap as 79euro CENTS!! Yes cents.
The rooms are not too good but consdering the fact that i am only there around 7 hours a day (just sleeping) during which my eyes are almost constantly closed this is not bad. This opposed to the exterior which is really nice with a bar and a nice swimming pool.
The work is pretty relaxed as the bossed dont really bother me. Actually one of them is super easy going. Last sunday me and my roomie (duncan from England (newcastle)) had to work with this particular bloke. At 2 o'clock we carefully asked him if it would be an option for us to stop working and drive quickly to Monaco to watch the F1 grandprix for a bit. He thought this was an excellent idea and so we hopped on Duncan's motorbike to arrive in Monaco at 3:15h. This allowed us to see the last 20min of the grandprix and explore monaco, look at the yachts, see the pit lane, sneak onto the race circuit and have a blast. Pretty good day for a working day.
The day before i visited St. Tropez with a bunch of people. Nice trip for sure as well.

Ok thats a bit my story so far.
would be nice to hear from you guys how things are evolving back home/ in the rest of the world.
