Burn baby...... burn!

Servus Leute,

The hottest news in town is that I am ill!! Or technically i am not ill but still i am in the 'krankenstand', which means i don't have to work or am not allowed to work until saturday. This is due to a severe sunburn which i got on monday. That day i had to work in our kiddy land. It was really nice weather so there was no need to wear a jacket. Practically t-shirt weather actually. In spite of using sunscreen factor 16 i got pretty burned in my face. The next day i gave a normal snowboard lesson to 8 dutch people but the burn got worse. It even started to irritate when i got inside. Even using factor 40 had not prevented the sun from getting a serious hold on me.
Wednesday then i want to go and work with a thick layer of sunscreen on the face. But the ski school boss forbid me to go out in the sun. So instead of taking some kids around the ski area i was heading to the doctor. He told me to stay out of the sun for about 4 days and gave me a healing-cream.
So here i am, inside behind the computer while outside its the best weather ever. Kind of tempting to go out and ski a bit. Although its not too bad to have some resting days. Was kind of tired of working a bit anyway as usually the week consists of 6 or 7 days of work.

Last week i thought that my bike had been stolen as, after schirmbar work, it was not on its park place anymore. The next day however somebody of the ski school found it somewhere else. Apparently some drunk guys had been running around with it while the lock was entirely twisted around the wheel. Quite happy that i have it back as it seriously saves me a lot of time moving between my room and downtown Solden.

So this week has not been very exciting. However, rather relaxing.
When more exciting things happen i will let you know.
